Wings In Flight

Plant Species

Below is a listing of the plants added to this garden. It changed as plants died, were replaced or added. Many of the plants were planted when I first moved here from the UK and I didn't know any better regarding the planting of natives, but those that are not native are Texas "adapted", very drought tolerant & attract wildlife. As plants died they were replaced with Native Texas plants, especially those which are local to the eco-region of North Central Texas.
They are broken down into categories such as shrubs, perennials, vines etc. A few plants were planted in pots for extra colour, allowing them to be brought inside over the winter, many being plants of tropical climates which needed more protection from the cold.
