Wings In Flight

Plant Species

Below is a listing of the plants I have in my garden. This list changes as plants die, are replaced or added. Many of the plants were planted when I first moved here 10 years ago from the UK and I didn't know any better regarding the planting of natives, but those that are not native are Texas "adapted", very drought tolerant & attract wildlife. As plants die they are being replaced with Native Texas plants, especially those which are local to the eco-region of North Central Texas.
They are broken down into categories such as shrubs, perennials, vines etc. A few plants I have are in pots which allows them to be brought inside over the winter, most of them being plants of tropical climates which I can't resist having and which need more protection from the cold.
